In December this year Bukowski held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work "Psyke" by Carl Milles. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 160,000.00 (€ 14,391.61), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Milles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bukowski die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Psyke" von Carl Milles zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 14.391,61) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Milles auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
