The work "Folke Filbyter" by Carl Milles was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,668.96), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).

Die Arbeit "Folke Filbyter" von Carl Milles wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.668,96) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
