Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Flöjtblåsande ängel" (Angel with a flute) by Carl Milles was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. It changed hands for a price of SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,074.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Flöjtblåsande ängel" (Angel with a flute) von Carl Milles kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.074,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
