The work Deer by Carl Milles was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. The result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,244.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Deer von Carl Milles wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.244,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
