The work "Fig 3" by Carl Hammoud was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2015. The result of SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,170.04) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Hammoud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Destroy Restore" in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 22,641.10).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Fig 3" von Carl Hammoud kam im November 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.170,04) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Hammoud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Destroy Restore" im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 22.641,10).
