The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Frederik Sørensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pool of London in July last year with an auction result of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 24,074.62).
