Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,457.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Ethan Akeley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American The Wounded Comrade in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 115,000.00 (€ 78,295.21).
