Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work My Anaconda Don't by Camille Henrot for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,202.63). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Camille Henrot have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2018 by the work Big Fish Small Fish at USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,870.76).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Camille Henrot wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2018 die Arbeit Big Fish Small Fish mit USD 47.500,00 (€ 40.870,76).
