This artwork by Callum Innes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Exposed Painting, Cadmium Red Deep sold for GBP 52,920.00 (€ 60,206.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Callum Innes; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Callum Innes erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
