Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Xerox Cut-Out (Patty In Church) by Cady Noland was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,458.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cady Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluewald in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 9,797,000.00 (€ 8,911,224.30).

Die Arbeit Untitled Xerox Cut-Out (Patty In Church) von Cady Noland kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.458,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
