The work Strange Rock by C. C. Wang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,167.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by C. C. Wang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lantern Festival, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,239.07).

Die Arbeit Strange Rock von C. C. Wang kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.167,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von C. C. Wang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lantern Festival beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.239,07) versteigert wurde.
