Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by C. C. Wang was sold in the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,467.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by C. C. Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lantern Festival in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,239.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von C. C. Wang wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.467,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von C. C. Wang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lantern Festival im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.239,07).
