Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract by C. C. Wang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,698.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by C. C. Wang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lantern Festival in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,239.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract von C. C. Wang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.698,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von C. C. Wang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lantern Festival im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.239,07).
