Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Byron Browne was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,463.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Byron Browne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Classical Still Life in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 143,513.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Byron Browne wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.463,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Byron Browne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Classical Still Life im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 143.513,20).
