Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Unknown by Ioki Bunsai for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,269.98). This price was achieved in the auction JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ioki Bunsai have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March last year by the work Nikko Toshogu Honden at USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,344.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Unknown von Ioki Bunsai für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.269,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ioki Bunsai wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Nikko Toshogu Honden mit USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.344,36).
