Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Ioki Bunsai was sold in the Japanese Art & Design auction at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,431.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Ioki Bunsai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Nikko Toshogu Honden was auctioned for USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,344.36).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Ioki Bunsai wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Japanese Art & Design bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.431,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ioki Bunsai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Nikko Toshogu Honden für USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.344,36) versteigert.
