In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Firestreak I by Bryan Wynter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,107.81), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Bryan Wynter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Stream'S Path in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 154,567.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Firestreak I von Bryan Wynter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.107,81) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Wynter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Stream'S Path im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.000,00 (€ 154.567,12).
