Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in London held the auction The Collection of Sir Nicholas Goodison - British Art: Innovation and Craftsmanship, which included the work Moon in Landscape by Bryan Wynter. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,574.48). Admittedly, works by Bryan Wynter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Stream'S Path in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 154,567.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion The Collection of Sir Nicholas Goodison - British Art: Innovation and Craftsmanship durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moon in Landscape von Bryan Wynter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.574,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Wynter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Stream'S Path im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.000,00 (€ 154.567,12).
