Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bird by Bryan Wynter was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,186.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Wynter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Stream'S Path in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 154,567.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bird von Bryan Wynter kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.186,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bryan Wynter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Stream'S Path im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.000,00 (€ 154.567,12).
