Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Porthgwidden From The Island by Bryan Pearce. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,028.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Pearce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St. Ives (All Round) in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,941.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Porthgwidden From The Island von Bryan Pearce zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.028,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Pearce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St. Ives (All Round) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 63.941,37).
