Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Striped Tablecloth by Bryan Pearce was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,133.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Pearce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Ives (All Round) in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,941.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Striped Tablecloth von Bryan Pearce wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.133,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bryan Pearce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit St. Ives (All Round) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 63.941,37).
