Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Neptune by Bryan Hunt was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,676.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pangaea II in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 52,808.99).
