The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 812.50 (€ 1,037.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bryan de Grineau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Spy Strangers: Churchill in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78).
