This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 500.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bryan de Grineau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work I Spy Strangers: Churchill, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78).
