Auction result misses estimated price range

In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire: The Old School and Master's House: Now celebrating the quarter centenary of its re-organisation under H.R.H. Edward VI by Bryan de Grineau for GBP 187.50 (€ 239.41). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan de Grineau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Spy Strangers: Churchill in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire: The Old School and Master's House: Now celebrating the quarter centenary of its re-organisation under H.R.H.
