In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Skiing in St Moritz, that's the way the money goes in Switzerland to-day: How British visitors spend their £75 quota sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,553.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bryan de Grineau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work I Spy Strangers: Churchill, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78).
