Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Twilight Hour by Bruce Crane for USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,209.37). This price was achieved in the auction American Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Crane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After the Rain in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 51,400.00 (€ 32,521.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Twilight Hour von Bruce Crane für USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.209,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Crane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After the Rain im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.400,00 (€ 32.521,35).
