Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Fields by Bruce Crane was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,935.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Crane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After the Rain in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 51,400.00 (€ 32,521.35).

Die Arbeit Autumn Fields von Bruce Crane kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.935,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Crane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After the Rain im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.400,00 (€ 32.521,35).
