Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Annunciation by Bruce Conner was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bruce Conner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cannabis Collage in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 631,500.00 (€ 596,993.76).
