Auction result misses estimated price range

In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Tree by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt for USD 630.00 (€ 577.56). This price was achieved in the auction Graphic Century at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Dusk (Solitude) in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Tree von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt für USD 630,00 (€ 577,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Graphic Century bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt erzielen.
