This artwork by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2020. In the California and Western Art auction, the work Ortiz Grocery (Santa Fe) sold for USD 17,575.00 (€ 14,724.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer Dusk (Solitude) in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt erzielte im August 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California and Western Art wurde die Arbeit Ortiz Grocery (Santa Fe) für USD 17.575,00 (€ 14.724,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer Dusk (Solitude) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.592,90).
