The work Fournez by Brice Guilbert was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,399.47), 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Brice Guilbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fournez in June this year with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,059.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fournez von Brice Guilbert wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.399,47) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brice Guilbert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fournez im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.059,85).
