This artwork by Brice Guilbert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in July this year. In the New Now auction, the work Fournez sold for GBP 8,890.00 (€ 10,371.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brice Guilbert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fournez, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,059.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 78 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Brice Guilbert erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Fournez für GBP 8.890,00 (€ 10.371,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Brice Guilbert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fournez beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.059,85) versteigert wurde.
