Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brice Guilbert could be acquired at Phillips in New York in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction, the work Fournez changed hands for USD 6,350.00 (€ 5,762.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Brice Guilbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fournez in June this year with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,059.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Brice Guilbert konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Fournez für USD 6.350,00 (€ 5.762,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brice Guilbert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fournez im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.059,85).
