Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Colossal by Brian Rice was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 828.75 (€ 685.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Rice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whirler in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,462.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Colossal von Brian Rice kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 828,75 (€ 685,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Rice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whirler im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.462,86).
