Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Colossal by Brian Rice was sold in the Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online auction at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 612.00 (€ 555.10), 22% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Rice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whirler in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,462.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Colossal von Brian Rice wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 612,00 (€ 555,10) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Rice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whirler im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.462,86).
