Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boris Lovet-Lorski could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Mother And Child changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Lovet-Lorski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Horses: A Pair of Works in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 324,500.00 (€ 278,063.41).
