Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer, which included the work Torso by Boris Lovet-Lorski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,470.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Lovet-Lorski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Horses: A Pair of Works in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 324,500.00 (€ 278,063.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torso von Boris Lovet-Lorski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.470,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Lovet-Lorski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Horses: A Pair of Works im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.500,00 (€ 278.063,41).
