Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother with Children by Boris Anisfeld was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in New York in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,534.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Anisfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowering Tree in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 581,867.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother with Children von Boris Anisfeld wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.534,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Anisfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowering Tree im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 581.867,42).
