It achieved a price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,335.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Anisfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowering Tree in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 581,867.42).

Die Arbeit Flowers with a Book von Boris Anisfeld kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.335,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Anisfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowering Tree im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 581.867,42).
