The work Elégantes in Hué (Elegant in Hue) by Boi Tran was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,454.16), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boi Tran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sourie, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 11,875.00.

Die Arbeit Elégantes in Hué (Elegant in Hue) von Boi Tran wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.454,16) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Boi Tran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sourie beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
