Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Lady with Lotus Flower by Boi Tran for HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,654.74). This price was achieved in the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boi Tran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sourie, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lady with Lotus Flower von Boi Tran für HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.654,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Boi Tran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sourie beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
