Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Our Lady by Boi Tran was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,779.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boi Tran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sourie, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Our Lady von Boi Tran kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.779,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Boi Tran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sourie beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
