Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady with Lotus Flower by Boi Tran was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 38,125.00 (€ 4,489.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boi Tran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sourie, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady with Lotus Flower von Boi Tran kam im April 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 38.125,00 (€ 4.489,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Boi Tran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sourie beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
