Admittedly, works by Bob Thompson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Meeting Man in May this year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 307,490.14).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 61.815,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Thompson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Meeting Man im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 307.490,14).
