The work Paris by Bob Thompson was worth USD 150,000.00 (€ 129,065.57) to a buyer in September 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Thompson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Meeting Man, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 327,600.00 (€ 307,490.14).
