The work Mirror I by Bob Law was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,433.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Bob Law have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 in March this year with an auction result of GBP 101,100.00 (€ 115,020.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mirror I von Bob Law kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.433,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Law auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 101.100,00 (€ 115.020,78).
