Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jaguar Head by Bob Kuhn was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2008. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,041.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bob Kuhn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fire Storm in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 657,000.00 (€ 447,303.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jaguar Head von Bob Kuhn kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.041,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bob Kuhn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fire Storm im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 657.000,00 (€ 447.303,92).
