Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Evening Hunt by Bob Kuhn. Here, the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 104,500.00 (€ 76,832.59). Admittedly, works by Bob Kuhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fire Storm in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 657,000.00 (€ 447,303.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening Hunt von Bob Kuhn zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 104.500,00 (€ 76.832,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Kuhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fire Storm im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 657.000,00 (€ 447.303,92).
