Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting And Wildlife Art Including The Collection Of Doug And Ellen Miller, which included the work A Delicate Balance, Gerenuks Feeding by Bob Kuhn. The price achieved of USD 97,000.00 (€ 66,040.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bob Kuhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fire Storm in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 657,000.00 (€ 447,303.92).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Sporting And Wildlife Art Including The Collection Of Doug And Ellen Miller durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Delicate Balance, Gerenuks Feeding von Bob Kuhn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 97.000,00 (€ 66.040,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Kuhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fire Storm im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 657.000,00 (€ 447.303,92).
